Congratulations Lindsay and Steve!!
I had the pleasure of photographing Lindsay and Steve's engagement session not long ago. What a great couple! They met while working on the campus ambulance at Villanova University and will soon be off to medical school. The ceremony will be held in the beautiful St. Thomas of Villanova Church next year. I can already tell that this is going to be an emotional wedding! They are very much in love. Photographing their engagement session was a blast. Thanks guys!!

I watched a movie a few weeks ago that had a profound affect on me. Basically it was a reminder of how important it is to stop and enjoy the little things in life. It’s easy to get caught up in the every day stresses and disappointments. Yesterday I followed my usual morning routine and while driving I became so overwhelmed by how beautiful the light was that I had to stop the routine. I couldn’t stand the thought of sitting in front of my computer all day, I needed to see more light. I needed to see how others used the light. My mind was cluttered and I needed to find some new forms of inspiration. Yesterday I wanted to walk through the art museum. I’m posting a few pictures from my day. I didn’t take my camera to make beautiful images or even to document what I was seeing. In fact I didn’t even plan on shooting anything at all (but I couldn’t help myself).

After a long break I’m finally ready for an update! Last weekend I had a great time photographing Healy Jones and Michelle Shinn’s wedding. The ceremony and reception were held at the Philadelphia Zoo! Prior to that we left the adorable Alexander Inn located at 12th and Spruce on a double-decker bus with the entire wedding party for a tour of the city! We spent 4 hours driving around and stopping for pictures along the way. We went to the Eastern State Penitentiary, Rodin museum, Water Works, U of Penn Campus and Independence Hall to name a few. It was a gorgeous day and certainly lot of fun. Congrats guys!
